Donor Advised Fund

Donor Advised Fund

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving fund administered by a third party that allows you to combine favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support

If you already have a donor advised fund, you can recommend a gift to Episcopal Homes Foundation using these charitable funds. A DAF can be used to make a one-time or recurring gift – you decide.

An example of how a DAF helps

Simon R. has a successful career in Information Technology. He created a donor advised fund to make his philanthropic goals easier to achieve and to centralize all his giving. His gifts to Episcopal Homes Foundation support the many initiatives and programs that the Foundation supports. “My grandfather lived here and I could see how well he was cared for. Every person I met there – from the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the person at the front desk to the amazing staff who helped my grandfather every day – was kind and respectful. My gifts from my donor advised fund are my way of paying forward the legacy of care my grandfather received.”
